SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR DAY FOR LIFE
This year’s theme is ‘The Wonder of the Child in the Womb’ and reflects on the humanity of the unborn child and acknowledges, with compassion, the deep grief experienced by parents who lose a child before or shortly after birth.
PARISH BARBECUE
A big thank you to everyone involved in this year’s parish barbecue with around 30 volunteers and about 100 in attendance on the day. The weather was lovely and everyone had a great time. Thanks also for the donations which helped cover the cost of the event.
SUNDAY 28TH JUNE
SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR PETER’S PENCE
It expresses the sense of belonging to the Church and love and trust for the Holy Father. It is a tangible sign of communion with Him, as Peter’s Successor, and of attention to the needs of the most disadvantaged, for whom the Pope always cares.
HELP A NEIGHBOUR TO MASS ON SUNDAY
The Mass for the sick was greatly enjoyed by those who normally can’t get to Holy Mass on a Sunday.
They really enjoyed coming to Mass and being part of the worshiping community again. It may be worth considering bringing someone you know to Mass once a month or even if only a few times a year. Please think about bringing someone to church and give your details to Father Devlin.
