SUNDAY 28TH JUNE

SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR PETER’S PENCE THIS WEEKEND

“Together, we must look for ways to be a missionary Church, a Church that builds bridges and encourages dialogue, a Church ever open to welcoming, like this Square with its open arms, all those who are in need of our charity, our presence, our readiness to dialogue and our love.” Pope Leo

The collection expresses the sense of belonging to the Church and our love and trust for the Holy Father. It is a tangible sign of communion with Him, as Peter’s Successor, and of attention to the needs of the most disadvantaged, for whom the Pope always cares. Pilgrims are asked to bring a packed lunch and water for the day.

HELP A NEIGHBOUR TO MASS ON SUNDAY

The Mass for the sick was greatly enjoyed by those who normally can’t get to Holy Mass on a Sunday.

They really enjoyed coming to Mass and being part of the worshiping community again. It may be worth considering bringing someone you know to Mass once a month or even if only a few times a year. Please think about bringing someone to church and give your details to Father Devlin.

SOCIETY OF SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL

Donations to the society can be made when coming to church via their collection boxes. They are working hard in our community and helping those in need. Your donations are greatly appreciated.

If you or someone you know needs assistance, please contact the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul on their hotline number on 07504 021995 or email at stambrosesvdp25@gmail.com
or contact the parish office on 0141 771 1058.
