CARFIN NATIONAL PILGRIMAGE
The National Pilgrimage to Carfin on Sunday 6th September will honour the Franciscan Jubilee, marking the 800th Anniversary of the Death of St Francis of Assisi. The Pilgrimage Mass will be at 3pm on Sunday 6th September and the main celebrant and preacher will be Most Rev William Nolan, Archbishop Glasgow. The Pilgrimage falls within the Season of Creation, a time therefore which fits well with St Francis’ love for God’s creation and all beings that inhabit the earth.
