PALM SUNDAY OF THE PASSION OF THE LORD
Scripture readings: Page 176
HOLY WEEK
Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week and the most important part of the Christian calendar. As such it is important that the faithful participate as much as possible in these sacred days that essentially tell the story of who we are. We continue to pray for Zoe, Isabella, Bailey and Keiren who are preparing to be received into the church at the Easter Vigil next Saturday night, followed by a small function in the hall with refreshments to celebrate their reception. We have a very full schedule in the coming week, so please check the details on the back page of the bulletin: extra schedules are available in the porch.
THE WALK OF WITNESS
We have restarted this event in conjunction with our friends at Muir Memorial and St John’s Church.
The cross will be carried from St John’s through Baillieston to St Andrew’s Church with stops along the way for prayer and reflection. All are welcome.
