They said, “Men of Galilee, why are you standing there looking at the sky?
This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven
will return in the same way as you have seen him going into heaven.”

MAY AND THE MONTH OF MARY
We will be praying the Rosary every weekday in May in St Bridget’s Church at 8.30am starting on Tuesday 5th of May. All are welcome to come along and join in especially the children who might attend before school. If the weather is dry, we will pray in the grotto.
MASS FOR THE SICK
We are planning a Mass for the sick on Saturday June 6th at 1pm in St Bridget’s Church followed by soup and sandwiches in the hall afterwards. The sacrament of the sick will be administered at the Mass.
Our thanks to the SSVP and other volunteers for offering transport. All are welcome.
PARISH BARBECUE
Our parish BBQ will take place after the 11am Mass in St Francis of Assisi on Sunday 14th June. We will be looking for volunteers to build the marquees and help with set up, cooking, kids entertainment etc.
