FIFTH SUNDAY OF EASTER

Scripture Readings: Page 265

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

SCIAF BOX MONEY IS BEING COUNTED.

PLEASE HAND YOUR BOX IN ASAP SO THAT WE CAN SEND THE FUNDS TO THE CHARITY

FIRST HOLY COMMUNIONS

Please remember the pupils of P4 in both of our schools who will be celebrating their First Holy Communion on the 9th & 16th May. A prayer for good weather would also be appreciated.

MAY AND THE MONTH OF MARY

We will also be praying the Rosary every weekday in May in St Bridget’s Church at 8.40am starting on Tuesday 5th of May. All are welcome to come along and join in especially the children who might attend before school. If the weather is good the rosary will be prayed in the grotto.

MASS FOR THE SICK

We are planning a Mass for the sick on Saturday June 6th at 1pm in St Bridget’s Church followed by soup and sandwiches in the hall afterwards. The sacrament of the sick will be administered at the Mass.

Our thanks to the SSVP and other volunteers for offering transport. All are welcome.

PARISH BARBECUE

Our parish BBQ will take place after the 11am Mass in St Francis of Assisi on Sunday 14th June. We will be looking for volunteers to build the marquees and help with set up, cooking, kids entertainment etc.
